All people living on the Coeur d'Alene Reservation: Teens unemployed and not in school

Teenagers who are not working, looking for work, or in school are usually “hanging out” with nothing to do and no place to go. The decennial census – conducted every ten years – provides information on this group of youth.

  • On the Coeur d'Alene Reservation, 12 percent of those age 16-19 were not working, looking for work, nor in school in 2000.

Please note that ORTL stands for Off-Reservation Trust Land.

Note: "Teens unemployed and not in school" are people 16-19 years old who are not working and not attending school. NA = Not Available. The Bureau does not report data for all reservations for all reference years.
